May 2006 New citizenship education resource connects young people and councillors in realtime The Im-local site aims to give young people the opportunity to learn about politics in their local area and the issues affecting their local communities and the role of their councillors in an interesting way. Councils can use the site in conjuction with other outreach methods to engage young people through the types of channels they are comfortable with.
