The Workshop on ICT Strategic Planning in Parliaments of
the Caribbean, held from 27
to 29 September 2010 in Bridgetown , Barbados, provided a regional
platform to exchange practices among the Caribbean
parliaments on the potential of ICT in parliament and on the importance of
strategic planning for its effective adoption and integration in parliamentary
processes. The Workshop, co-organized by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs,
through the Global Centre for ICT in Parliament, and the Caribbean Centre for Development
Administration (CARICAD), focused on experiences and methodologies to
better plan ICT processes in the legislative environment.
