In preparation for the 3rd high-level Meeting of the Board, the Advisory Committee of the Global Centre for ICT in Parliament met in Rome on 26-27 January 2009. After a presentation of the "e-Governance for Development Initiative" by the Government of Italy, members of the Advisory Committee focused their attention on a review of the activities of the Global Centre in 2008, a discussion of the Global Centre's strategic document and work plan for 2009 and 2010, and preparation of the upcoming meeting of the Board.
