An International workshop “Towards the establishment of an African Parliamentary Knowledge Network on ICT, legislation and documentation" (APKN) was held on 20 March 2007 to exchange ideas and agree on a common framework for the establishment of an APKN. The workshop, hosted by the National Assembly of Nigeria, was organized by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. The workshop was held in conjunction with the International Conference on African Legal Resources.
